I got to travel to Nevada City this year for their Celtic Music festival. I can't compare it to any other years as this was the first year for me. However, I found it lacking somewhat in vitality. It might have been just the fact that I attended on Sunday rather than Saturday. The music was almost all folk groups with a very quite acoustic sound. Some tin whistle players but mostly fiddle and guitar. I didn't see any flute playing and no pipes. However I caught up with the Frazer guild to get the news.
